Title: Editing final circuit labels
Post by: russ1669 on 30 January 2026, 09:00
Hi All,
I'm having some frustration entering information for the final circuit labels. I've been clicking into the circuit and editing the plan prefix and description for each. This is fine for a few circuits, but when you have a hundred, it is very slow going. I found I was able to edit the DB labels using
Function/ Board ways labels editor which was great, but frustratingly although it shows the circuit details, it won't let me edit them. Is there another way?

Ways editor will just let you to edit labels not decsriptions.

You need to edit descriptions one by one.

Hi Mert,
is there any other information on how to use the plan prefix and description boxes? I want to edit descriptions of all my final circuits preferably from a list. Does the  certificate add on allow easier text entry?

Hi,

Not really. I have not updated the manual to include this as yet! Hopefully soon it will be updated. However, I do not think it is too complicated. Trial and error always works.

and no UK forms is not designed for this purpose and it will be an overkill to buy it, if you ask me.
